Inspired by The Jacobite Heroine, Jenny Cameron of Glendessary, famed for having led 300 clansmen to the Prince's Standard at Glenfinnan in 1745.  

Much maligned in her day, as 'that damned Scotch whore' and ' Rebel bitch'. Featured in 'Tom Jones' by Henry Fielding. The truth about her character is in fact much different. She simply attended the spectacle of the raising of the standard, that was her only part. The rest was  pure propaganda .
