Inspired by the feelings of homesickness that were felt by those forced to leave their homeland for either economic reasons, persecution or cleared by ethnic cleansing. I think it important to mention this. It should not be ignored, however any blame attributed to historical characters should be accompanied by learning. There is no group responsible , No English versus Scots. Historical truth is never so easily explained away.  As someone once said, 'the truth will set you free, but it will annoy the hell out of you first'
